Ireti Doyle narrates how she survived carbon monoxide poisoning

Ireti Doyle, a veteran Nollywood actress, has revealed how she just survived carbon monoxide poisoning.

The actress revealed that the incident on November 19, 2023, left her bleeding from her nose and foaming at the mouth.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, she described her meeting as a testimonial.

“I was discovered unconscious in the car that had been dispatched to ferry us.” It had been a strange case of carbon monoxide poisoning. My mouth was frothing and blood was streaming down my nostrils.

“The gas had gotten into the AC vents, and the driver and I were sitting in the car, inhaling that shit.” Carbon monoxide poisoning is caused by sources other than generators. It is both silent and fast.

“The ONLY reason I’m still alive to tell you this story is because God, in His infinite mercy, said NO.” God is genuine and trustworthy. I am proof of His faithfulness.

“On this day, Jehovah Jireh aligned the best Nigeria had to offer – people, medical personnel, every single resource and logistics required at that moment and the following days in my favour.

“Had ONE thing shifted out of place, I wouldn’t be here. This is a testimony and a teachable moment,” she said.
