Boko Haram claim responsibility for the killing of former DIG Ningi 1

Boko Haram yesterday claimed responsibility for killing a former
Nigerian Deputy Inspector Generalof police, Abubakar Saleh Ningi, in Kano.

Yesterday God gave us victory and we succeeded in
killing a former DIG in Kano city. By God’s grace very soon top government
officials will have no peace as we will intensify attacks on them wherever they
are.” The sect said in an email statement to reporters yesterday

DIG Ningi was shot dead along Sauna Kawagi road in Kano on Tuesday night
June 5th, alongside two police aides attached to him, read about it HERE.
