Paul Weeks a 39-year-old New Zealander and his sons (3-year-old Lincoln and 11-month-old Jack). After surviving the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, Paul – a mechanical engineer – and his family relocated to Perth, Western Australia, where they, on Dec. 30th, 2013, survived a ghastly car accident.
Paul was on board the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 as he flew out to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, to start a dream job. He was to stay there for 28 days.
Before bidding farewell to his family, Paul gave his wife (Danica Weeks) his wedding ring and his wristwatch with an instruction: “If something should happen to me, then the wedding ring should go to the first son that gets married and the watch to the second.”
At the airport, “He was emailing me when he was in the lounge before he got on the flight,” a weeping Danica said. “He emailed me and the title was ‘missing you already’ and in it he wrote, ‘you know, you and the boys are my world.’
About an hour after Paul’s plane took off from Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, he and the 238 other passengers aboard the flight vanished somewhere over the South China Sea.
Paul’s wife still says, “I can’t give up hope. I think we’re hoping that it landed somewhere nicely and he’s sitting having a coffee.”…
Please, let’s keep on keeping the passengers of this plane and their loved ones in our thoughts and prayers. via Kaanayo
