A residential 75-storey skyscraper in Dubai has caught fire in the densely populated Marina district, sending plumes of smoke into the air.

Pieces of the building’s facade have been falling off and tumbling below as the blaze engulfed the Sulafa Tower on Wednesday.
The fire appears to have started on the 35th floor and quickly spread to other floors and the sides of the building.
