Seun Kuti's 'Black Times' Album Gets 2019 Grammy Nomination As Olamide Shows Some Support 3

Seun Kuti’s “Black Times” album has received a nomination in the Best World Music Album category at the 61st Grammy Awards ceremony happening in February 2019. Olamide has shown some support to Seun Kuti after he announced the nomination of his album for an accolade at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

Seun Kuti shared the information on his Instagram yesterday and urged his followers to vote for him. Olamide who just signed two new artistes Picazo Rhap and Yomi Blaze to his YBNL label, has been supportive since word got out about the Grammy nomination.

Today, he put out his hopes concerning the nominee as he writes on his IG.

“This is major! Make Grammy come chill for shrine,”

‘Black Times’ was released on March 2, 2018, Seun Kuti features tracks that concern the common problems of leadership confronting many African countries.

The album’s second track ‘Black times’ with Mexican-American musician Carlos Santana who was obvious with the guitar, calls on the black community to steer in a positive direction to aid freedom from frequent issues.
