A final year student of Computer Science identified as Agomuo Jennifer at the Imo State University almost committed suicide, shortly after stabbing her boyfriend on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.
According to reports, Jennifer and her boyfriend, a student of Engineering department, called it a quits on their relationship.
The boyfriend finding no reason why the all the gift he bought his girlfriend should remain with her after their breakup – stormed her lodge at Joe Tony Hostel to retrieve all his gifts.
In the hostel, things escalated which resulted to Jenny stabbing him.
Jenny on seeing what had happened, the fear of committing murder and the grim consequences, reportedly drank a poisonous substance in a bid to kill herself.
They were both rushed to Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owerri where the lady was pronounced dead on arrival and the boyfriend placed on oxygen support.
