Rivers APC Governorship Candidate, Tonye Cole Escapes Assasination After Being Attacked By Gunmen
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers state, Tonye Cole reveals how he escaped assassination on Friday after he was attacked by gunmen at Old Bakana during his ward-to-ward consultation visit.
Cole also thanked God for protecting him, adding that stands of peaceful politics.
Tragedy was averted Friday, November 16, 2018 at Old Bakana. Gun Men opened fire on my team while we were carrying out ward-to-ward consultation in the community. We thank The almighty for his protection now and always.I stand for politics of peace #ANewHopeForRivers
