Two internet fraudsters have been arrested over the Delta State University (DELSU) student, Miss Elozino Joshuana Ogege, who was found dead with her tongue and breast missing.
A Few days ago, we reported that Miss Elozino Joshuana Ogege, a 300 level student of Mass Communication, Delta State University (DELSU), who was declared missing was reportedly found by residents along Ekrejeta road in Abraka Community, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State with her tongue and breasts missing. Two suspected internet fraudsters and a security staff, Onos Ekana, who works in Site III of the university campus have been arrested over the brutal murder of Elozino.
Onos Ekana, the security personnel who works in Site III of the university campus was first arrested after his identity was unmasked through the aid of a tracking machine.
After severe interrogations at the State CID, Ekana confessed to the crime and gave a lead which led to the arrest of two other suspects who are believed to be ‘Yahoo Boys’ who reside in Umege, in Abraka.
Ekana also gave the name of the owner of the house where the deceased was tied for hours before she was murdered, adding that he was promised a monthly pay of N30, 000 if the plot sails through.
The police also dug out the body from where it was buried and took it to a mortuary in Obiaruku.
Elozino’s elder sister, Faith Ogege, said she was aware of the developments, but hoped that the said corpse was not that of her sister.
When asked how the mother is handling the demise of her promising daughter, she disclosed that they were yet to break the news to her, who at the moment is attending a religious programme in Lagos.
