Reno Omokri, the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a “common thief.”
Omokri said this while rubbishing claims by Buhari that his victory during Saturday’s presidential election was “a victory for all Nigerians.”
Condemning Buhari’s claim, the former presidential aide wondered why Nigerians were allegedly in a mourning mood, following the declaration of Buhari as President.
In a tweet, Omokri maintained that Buhari was unpopular because a national condemnation greeted his emergence at the polls.
President @MBuhari says his election is ‘a victory for all Nigerians’, yet the nation is in mourning mode. The truth is self evident. If he were truly popular, there would be nationwide celebrations. Instead, there is national condemnation.
You are thief Buhari. A common thief!
