Police Rescues Young Man Attempting To Jump Into Lagoon At 3rd Mainland Bridge In Lagos
Men of the Rapid Response Squad, Lagos state police command, has rescued a yet-to-be-identified young man who wanted to commit suicide by jumping into the lagoon at 3rd mainland bridge.
According to a post on RRS’s twitter handle, the young man had climbed the bridge on Sunday, November 24, 2019, and was about to jump into the Lagoon, but he was stopped from taking his own life.
RRS has handed the young man over to Adekunle Police Station for investigation.
Sharing the photos, the security agency wrote:
“RRS officers on 3MB just prevented this man from jumping into the Lagoon. He was interviewed and sounded incoherent. He has been taken to Adekunle Police Station for his family to be contacted.”

Meanwhile, KanyiDaily had reported that a 37-year-old man identified as David Oladayo Sanyaolu, was also rescued while attempting to commit suicide over alleged infidelity on the part of his wife.
