Popular Media personality, Toke Makinwa has taken to her social media page to react to Cardi B‘s visit to Nigeria and how she has been received by Nigerians.
KanyiDaily had reported that Cardi B came into Nigeria on 5th December for the weekend and documented every moment of her stay – one of which was her visit to a strip club in Lagos.
Cardi B also visited an orphanage home and partied with other Nigerian music stars like Burna Boy, Zlatan and Tiwa Savage.
Nigerians did not hide their love for the way she advertised and spoke glowingly of Nigeria and Lagos in particular.
Some went ahead to compare her with other celebrities saying she has done more promotion of Nigeria in her short stay than some Nigerian celebrities have done in their lifetime.
Well, it seems Toke Makinwa is not pleased with the way Nigerians are appreciating Cardi B for being ‘so real’, because according to her, Nigerian celebrities do the same and get a reverse reaction. She wrote:
“These are the issues. Nigerians Cardi B is so real, I stan. Your own celebs living their lives like her. Such a disgrace! Morally corrupt! Bad role model! So plastic! so crass! So unintelligent! So razz! So loud!”
Nigerian actor and comedian, Yomi Black must have really being infuriated by Toke Makinwa’s statement that he dared her to openly show how she can afford her lifestyle
According to him, Cardi B is loved by many people because she’s real and never denied being a former stripper. He then dared Toke to reveal the source of her unexplainable wealth.
“You see why people love someone like Cardi B? She owns her shit, just like the Kardashians. You get what you expect. She hasn’t denied being a stripper or enjoying showing her body. She doesn’t go around forming motivational speaker and quoting Bible passages on social media like some Saint. Dear Toke, I dare you to openly show how you can afford your lifestyle.
“And don’t come with shit like you’re an actress or OAP because we all know how much both earn. Also, don’t spew shit about endorsement deals because we are in marketing communications and know how much these deals are worth. This has got to be the most hypocritical post of 2019,” he wrote.
After Yomi Black dared Toke Makinwa to openly show how she can afford her lifestyle like Cardi B, other women slide tackle him over his post, while the men sides with the actor. The post is currently buzzing on social media.
