Earlier today KanyiDaily broke the news about the Indian man at Dangote Refinery who has been quarantined for having coronavirus symptoms.
The Indian man has been identified as Jaynath Kumar.
He works as an assistant pipe fitter at Dangote refinery.
He arrived Nigeria on 12th March 2020 from India.
He was having high temperature, sore throat, dry chest cough and difficulty in breathing and went to the clinic himself.
Kumar’s passport number is M8869527 and he arrived Nigeria via Cairo Egypt.
Kumar was initially isolated at Block 21, Room 5, A158, Dangote Refinery Camp, Lekki, Freezone, Lagos, Nigeria.
This is the most difficult coronavirus case in Nigeria. The refinery currently employs over 6000 people and it will be difficult rounding up all the people who had contact with Kumar and the people they also met.
Eleko, Ibeju Local Government area of Lagos needs to be quarantined.
