The Emir of Daura’s Palace has been sealed off by the Katsina state government after several people within the palace tested positive for coronavirus.
It was gathered that the government was forced to make the decision due to positive cases of the virus recorded in the palace.
The secretary to the state government, Dr Mustapha Inuwa, who confirmed the development, said the results of samples taken will determine when the palace will be reopened.
