However, during a live interview with Instagram influencer Tunde Ednut, Jude Okoye debunk all the claims levelled against him by Cynthia Morgan.
Okoye noted that Morgan had started answering Madrina against his advice even before leaving Northside Entertainment.
“I never took that name from her. I don’t have that power. Which law in the world fit make person stop dey answer name wey him mama and papa give am?
“Before she left, she wanted to change her name to Madrina says it means ‘Godmother. I advised against.
“I’m going to send you Cynthia Morgan’s contract, it’s a five-page document and when you see it, you can tell me where it says my company owns a right to her name.
“I didn’t even prepare the contract, it was Cynthia Morgan and her former manager, Joy [Tongo] who prepared the contract.”
Jude Okoye added the songstress still had access to her social media account two years after leaving the label.
He then went further to say that his contract with Morgan ended in 2017 and whatever she’s saying now is cooked up.

Okoye made it known that Morgan owes him N40 million that he never recouped.
Describing how some of that money was spent, he says he shot 13 videos for Morgan with each video worth N3 m, bought her the white Range, gave her money to buy land for her mother. Okoye also says that Morgan played secret shows and kept the money for herself.
“I spent almost N40 million on you. Have I ever gone to court to gain an injunction against you?. Abeg when you tell people what I did to you. Did you tell them I gave you a Range Rover, Did you tell them I gave you a house? Did you tell people how many shows you don do behind my back?” he added.
KanyiDaily had also reported that May D revealed he was treated badly while with Square Records which was managed by Jude Okoye.
May D claimed he never had a bank account while with Square Records because he was never paid for his services, adding that he was made to share a room with their driver and cook even though their twin duplex was empty.
Reacting to the allegation, Jude said he spent over a hundred thousand dollars on May D, gave him rare privileges and treated him like family even though the singer was never signed.
According to Jude, trouble began after he gave May D a contract and the singer came back after 2 weeks stating that there were no incentives in the contract.
Jude said May D had demanded a car and an apartment in Lekki despite the fact that the singer was still up-and-coming and had not done any shows.
He said that the singer left at the point Square Records offered him a contract because he (May D) wanted to live like P Square which was not possible.

Meanwhile, Peter Okoye, who had a falling out with his brother Jude Okoye, reacted to the saga by reminding Cynthia Morgan of how she rejected the contract he gave her because his brothers portrayed him as the evil one.
