Nigerian youths protesting against the extrajudicial activities of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have set up a solar powered free charging spots at Lekki toll Gate, Lagos State.
The youths who are protesting against the SARS tactical unit of the Nigerian Police Force over its brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, and extra-judicial killings, set up the solar charging spots to keep their phones, camera, etc powered during demostrations.
Series of photos and videos circulating on the social media shows that the charging spots already have chargers fixed, so protesters won’t need to bother about carrying their chargers around.
