Men of the Nigerian Army were pictured marching with Nigerian youths protesting against the extrajudicial activities of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Ibadan, Oyo State.
This is coming after Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, released a press video to notify that the citizen of Oyo can embark on a peaceful protest and ordered the police force to stand down and not be seen disrupting the protest in Ibadan.
As I stated clearly in my earlier statement, peaceful protests are a legitimate way for citizens to make their grievances known to the government, and it is totally unacceptable for anyone to be hurt during such protests. pic.twitter.com/lgYPwaKLLl

Many people have turned up on Tuesday morning to have a peaceful protest against the SARS tactical unit of the Nigerian Police Force over brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, extra-judicial killings, among others.
Soldiers of the Operation Burst supervising the protests were also caught on camera matching with the #EndSARS campainers in their movement in Ibadan.
Below are some of the reaction, photos and videos from the protest.
Kudos to Nigeria Soldiers… Protect our youths and defend our Democracy.
