The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the resignation of Peru President, Manuel Merino, over a violent protest that claimed the lives of two people.
KanyiDaily had reported that President Merino resigned on Sunday, just five days after taking office, following street protests against his election that left two people dead.
Reacting in a post shared on his Twitter page, Nnamdi Kanu called out President Muhammadu Buhari over his action in the wake of the #EndSARS protests that rocked the country last month.
“Peru President Merino resigns following street protests, Kanu wrote.
“But in Nigeria, following #EndSARS protests, Nigeria president is either persecuting and freezing bank accounts of Nigerian youths or slaughtering them at #Obigbo and Nigerians are seemingly tolerating it.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Femi Adesina had said Nigerians would have been mourning and lamenting if President Buhari hadn’t acted like a father during the #EndSARS protest that rocked the country last month.
