“40 In Lagos, 15 In Abuja” – Nigeria Records 121 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Hits 162,762
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 121 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 162,762.
The NCDC made this known on Tuesday night via its official Twitter handle where it disclosed that the new cases were recorded in 14 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“121 new cases of COVID-19; Lagos-40, FCT-15, Katsina-12, Kaduna-11, Imo-8, Kebbi-8, Nasarawa-8, Delta-7, Edo-3, Osun-3, Rivers-3, Ekiti-1, Jigawa-1, Kano-1.”

Our discharges today include 977 community recoveries in FCT and 57 in Imo State managed in line with guidelines.
Today’s deaths includes a backlog of data from FCT.
