In a video shared on Facebook by his Spokesman, Olayiwola Koiki, igboho’s men alleged that the arrested men were sent as spies in an attempt to attack their leader who is fighting for the Yoruba people.

Igboho, who was visibly annoyed, accused the men of having being sent by the government to do a ‘survey’ of his Soka residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

But the soldiers denied the allegation, claiming they were on a bike to a different destination when they saw the two civilians fighting and tried to separate them before they were apprehended by Igboho’s men.

Speaking, Sunday Igboho described the two civilians as bastards of the Yoruba race, adding that “you will all finish”.

“If you want to prove anything, it should not be to me Igboho. You are bastards among Yorubas. If not, they would not have sent you to me. And I promise you will finish. I will finish you,” Igboho said angrily.

The four arrested persons were asked to kneel by Igboho’s supporters, who made attempts to assault them. But Igboho stopped his people and handed them over to the police, who drove them away in their vehicle.

Igboho’s Spokesman, Olayiwola Koiki wondered why the military men left their Alakia barrack to pass through Soka, where Igboho’s house is located. He alleged that the Federal Government sponsored the military men to spy on Igboho.

“This indicates that the threat to Chief Sunday Igboho is still very high. What are military men on a bike searching for? We are calling on the Federal Government to tread softly with their military and the civilians they placed around Sunday Igboho’s house,” Koiki said.
