Medical Trip: Reno Omokri Leads Protest To “Harass President Buhari Out Of London” [Video]
Reno Omokri, a former aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan, led a group of people to protest against the medical trip of President Muhammadu Buhari to the United Kingdom.
KanyiDaily recalls that on Tuesday, March 30, President Buhari had traveled to London where he would be spending two weeks to enable him to undergo a medical checkup.
On Friday, Omokri and a group of Nigerians decided to stage a protest at the gate of Abuja House to harass President Buhari out of London.
In a series of tweets on Friday, Omokri questioned the decision of Buhari to have himself treated in London after refusing to build a single hospital in Nigeria.
“He left Nigeria on the day that doctors began their strike. He’s not building hospitals for people, yet he comes here to enjoy the best in a country that has law and order. Why can’t he do that in his country?” Omokri asked.
“His children all schooled here in England. He has not built a single school for Nigerians. If they are sick, they all come here.”
Omokri also lamented the insecurity in the country and the hardship Nigerians are going through due to the economy under the Buhari’s administration.
The former presidential aide also criticised Buhari over the rehabilitation of repentant Boko Haram insurgents and the Lekki shooting during the #EndSARS protest in Lagos.

“General @MBuhari is not running a government. He is running a criminal enterprise. He killed #EndSARS protesters and now he is in London to secure his life? Send the coward back to fix the mess he created”-

General @MBuhari’s people called the police on me. I was questioned and let go, the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon. The police established that we had broken no laws and we were observing proper #COVID19 protocols. This government’s attempt to stop failed big time! #BuhariTormentor pic.twitter.com/Rax3LDewgD

If we, as Nigerians, are not willing to fight for our rights, we will continue to live like subhumans under @MBuhari . When @MBuhari’s men called the Police on me this afternoon, I asked the officer officer ‘has Queen Elizabeth II ever come to Nigeria to access healthcare? So, why should you be called when I’m asking my President to return to Nigeria to use our hospitals? #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon

We made sure General @MBuhari could not leave his residence today. A cowardly man. Remember how he cried when he lost election in 2015. He can’t lose election without crying, yet he killed #EndSARS protesters and doesn’t care that their parents are crying #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon pic.twitter.com/eKwRDKhBp0

I salute the men of the Metropolitan Police. They were called by General @MBuhari’s people to stop me. If it were in Buhari’s Nigeria, they’d have beaten me black and blue. Rather, they questioned me, and then satisfied, they allowed the #HarassBuhariOutofLondon protest continue
