Nigerian Rapper, Victony Involved In Fatal Car Accident, Set To Undergo Major Surgery

Fast-rising Nigerian rapper, Anthony Victor, also known as Victony, is set to undergo major surgery after he was involved in a fatal car accident.

It was learnt that Victony and some of his friends in the vehicle were returning home from the birthday party of singer, Oxlade, when the accident happened on Monday.

Taking to his Twitter page on Tuesday, the rapper’s manager, Dafe, revealed that one of Victor’s friends identified as Doyin died in the auto crash while others including the rapper were severely injured.

“Yesterday at the early hours of the morning, @vict0ny was involved in a fatal accident which claimed Doyin’s life and left 3 others. #PrayForVictony.

“Victony was unfortunately severely injured and he’s set to undergo surgery today. Please let’s all say a prayer for Victony #prayforvictony.”

Oxlade also expressed shock over the incident while commiserating with the family of the deceased with a heart broken emoji.

“Dear lord. Heal the wounded…comfort the families of the lost ones…. Till we meet again Doyin,” he wrote in one of the posts.
