Popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid has achieved another milestone with his global hit track, Essence, featuring budding songstress, Tems.
Wizkid released “Essence” in 2020 and the song has since become a hit after it appeared on global music charts across the globe, seeing Kylie Jenner among others jamming to it.
“Essence” which was released off Wizkid’s fourth studio album, “Made in Lagos album”, has now become the “most Shazamed” song in the United States of America.
The music streaming platform made the announcement on its website while sharing the Top 200 Most Shazamed songs in the US.
KanyiDaily recalls that Justin Bieber recently thanked Wizkid for featuring him on the remix of “Essence” which he described as the “song of the summer.”
