Anambra school students attend their first assembly for the new academic session in ‘Isi Agu’ native wear.
Students of Bubbendorf Memorial Secondary School, Adazi Nnukwu, Anambra State, has gone viral on social media after they attended their first assembly for the new academic session in Igbo native wear referred to as Isi Agu.
In the photos circulating on social media, all the students who appeared to be male could be seen dressed in their ‘Isi Agu’ native wear instead of the normal school uniforms.
The photos from their assembly shared on Facebook by Rev. Fr. Theo Ekwem, have sparked mixed reactions on social media with many commending the initiative, while others condemned the choice of the outfit.
