Fela Is Being Studied Abroad, Nobody Should Compare Him To Wizkid – Woli Arole

Nigerian actor and comedian, Woli Arole has said that Grammy-winning singer, Wizkid should never be compared with legendary Afrobeats singer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Woli Arole stated this on his Twitter page where he revealed that Fela is being studied in universities abroad and as such, he shouldn’t be compared to Wizkid.

According to him, when he went to study filmmaking in London, his lecturer asked him where he’s from and when he replied that he’s from Nigeria, the lecturer followed up with another question asking whether he knows Fela Kuti.

”Please nobody should compare WIZKID and FELA around me ooooooo. When I went to study “Filmmaking in London” my lecturer asked me “Where are you from? I replied “Nigeria”. He replied “Do you know FELA?. Mo foh. Fela is been studied in Universities abroad,’ he wrote.
