The APC leader’s dress was soaked behind when he stood up to make his statement on Saturday at the palace of Awujale. While many have ascribed the wet part of the dress to sweat, others have said it is urine emanated due to his old age.

In the video, a man dressed in a suit believed to be one of Tinubu’s security detail was seen staring at the moist section of the dress while closing his nostrils, as another woman immediately wore her face mask as the APC leader rose up to speak.

The video of the supposed incident has gone viral on social media with many urging the presidential aspirant to focus on his health instead of pursuing his presidential ambition.

KanyiDaily recalls that last month, Tinubu had informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his ambition to contest for the presidency in the 2023 general election.

Sahara Reporter publisher and activist, Omoyele Sowore has reacted to the viral video and urged the APC leader to proceed for medical treatment, saying he is sick.

“Bola Tinubu is sick, he needs medical treatment NOT Nigeria’s presidential seat. The Presidency should not be converted to a hospice! #WeCantContinueLikeThis #RevolutionNow”, Sowore posted on his verified Facebook page.

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, alleged that Tinubu is suffering from a condition called Enuresis.

He wrote, “This is called Enuresis in medicine. It is a condition where young children or elderly persons are unable to control their urine flow. It is not sweat. If it were sweat, it would have been more pronounced on his back. It is not an insult to call a spade a spade!”

In another post, Omokri wrote: He wrote; “Did Bola Tinubu actually pee on himself? Look, there is nothing wrong with that. It is an age-related issue. I pray he gets better. I also pray it does not happen to me when I am advanced in age.

“I mean no disrespect, but this man should focus on his health! For those explaining away Bola Tinubu’s wet backside as just sweat, please you are not talking to children. You are much more likely to sweat on your BACK than on your buttock area.”

A Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju mocked Tinubu saying that those working with the APC leader should endeavor to get quality diapers for him.

He tweeted, “They should get quality pampers for political ancestor so that his poo or pee won’t show next time. And people around don’t have to be covering their noses.

“Political ancestor urinated on himself and his security aide is seen covering his nose. Oh, Naija for show!”
