The residence of the former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha in Abuja has been besieged by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to reports, the operatives arrived at his house located at No. 3, Nyasa Close, Off Ontario Street on Tuesday morning, May 24 with an appreciable large number of police officers who mounted at strategic positions.
A source at the anti-graft agency claimed that Rochas Okorocha had turned down several invitations from the agency over alleged corruption and this caused the agency to storm his house.
In other news, Ekiti State University (EKSU) has resumed academic activities despite the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
