Justin Dean, the American husband of Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi, has denied claims that he stole the sum of $5,000 from his estranged wife.
KanyiDaily recalls that the dancer had cried out on Facebook Live that her ex-husband stole a sum of $5000 that she had mistakenly sent into their joint account.
Obidi said, “Justin went into the joint account, I had mistakenly sent $5,000 there for rent and a bunch of other stuff. I sent it to my PayPal; I didn’t know the account linked to the PayPal was still a joint account. He emptied the account.”
“We’re separated and he has stolen from me and my girls. This is daylight robbery. I’ve messaged him to return this money he stole and he gave some excuses, trying to accuse me of stealing his gold.
“I don’t know what’s he’s talking about but he just stole $5000 from I and my girls, we have lawyers fees to pay, rent at this point, but he wants us to be homeless.
“He’s stealing from me at this point and he’s not giving me money for food for the girls, I’m taking care of these girls by myself and he’s still stealing from us.”
Justin Dean Denies Stealing Korra Obidi’s Money
Reacting to the allegations, the doctor said the withdrawal from the joint account was a “bona fide mistake”, but he has returned the money.
Admitting that he “transferred money”, the chiropractor explained, “It was an accident. I was not expecting anyone to transfer any money to the joint account or any account. I was paying bills. I’m a busy person. I returned the money, it was an accident, a bona fide accident.
“$27,445, that’s what I make as a $300 an hour clinician. An elite clinician, one of the top paid clinicians in the country,” he boasted.
This comes a few days after Korra Obidi revealed that the trouble in her marriage started when Justin Dean began claiming that her money belongs to him.
