Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC has reacted after Atiku Abubakar emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP flagbearer.
KanyiDaily recalls that Atiku on Sunday night, 28th May, was declared the winner of the PDP presidential primary election, garnering over 300 votes.
Reacting to this development, Igbokwe described it as a political blunder and unmitigated error on the part of PDP.
According to the Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Drainage and Water Resources, the unwritten rule states that power should go to the South in 2023.
In his words:
“PDP has committed a political blunder and unmitigated error by picking Atiku ABUBAKAR as its presidential candidate knowing fully well that power goes to the south in 2023 according to our unwritten rules.
FROM OUR UNWRITTEN RULE POWER GOES TO THE SOUTH IN 2023. WE UNDERSTAND THIS VERY WELL.”
