The body of the 200 level Christian student, Deborah Samuel who was killed and burnt over alleged blasphemy in Sokoto has been laid to rest.
Deborah Samuel was ruthlessly attacked, beaten and burnt to death on Thursday, 12th May for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed via Whatsapp voice notes.
A video of the act was shared on social media which also captured the moment a man was seen bragging about setting her on fire with his matchbox.
However, on 14th May, she was buried in her hometown, Tungan Magajiya in Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State amid tears and sorrow.
