In a video shared on his Instagram page, the actor lamented the situation of things in Nigeria, stressing that the country is “really in a bad state” and that “no sector is working optimally.”
Okunnu rained generational curses on the leaders who have contributed to the worsening state of the nation which has left many Nigerians to live like foreigners in their own country.
He said, “If we keep watching and don’t speak up, it’s because we don’t want to disrupt things. Nigeria is bad. Whether a man, woman, child, an elderly person who has a hand in making the nation what it is today, their lives will also be bad from generation to generation.
“All those who contributed to making Nigeria as bad as it is today, their lives will also be bad from generation to generation.
“The country is really in a bad condition. I can’t say there is a particular sector where the country is good. If we cannot enjoy our country as citizens, then we’re like foreigners.”
Sharing the video, Okunnu added: “I have never be in this mood in my life, where we are going in this county. When are we going to enjoy ourselves in this country.”
