Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Rebecca Nengi Hampson has been accused of benefitting from the government by advising President Muhammadu Buhari to be wicked and using men to achieve her goals.
Twitter Users Call Out Nengi
Popular TV host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu had taken to his Twitter page were he reposted President Buhari’s statement on the prolonged strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The tweet read: “Enough is enough. Don’t hurt the next generation for goodness sake – President Buhari to ASUU”
Reacting to the post, a Twitter user identified as ‘Bella’s beauty empire’ said the president and Nengi had the common trait of acting indifferent as if they don’t know what’s going on about them.
“This man and Nengi get one thing in common, always acting like they don’t know what’s happening around them… The difference is that Nengi is simple and not wicked but him, Tueeehhhh”, she wrote.
In a swift response, another Twitter user, Alexjaxi claimed that Nengi was the one advising President Buhari to be wicked because the reality star likes using men to achieve her goals.
Alex, who also accused Nengi of benefiting from the Buhari-led government, recounted how the reality star acquired a house, car and private business within two years.
The tweep also called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to look into her case.
He wrote, “I think Nengi is the one advising that man to be wicked. That girl likes using men to achieve her goals. And she’s the only one benefiting from the Nigeria government. Under 2 years, she has a house, car, private business. @OFFICIALEFCC should look into her case.”
Nengi found their allegations funny and claimed the title, tweeting “Special Adviser to the President. FRN. That’s my New Title”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy and Nengi Hampson had recently sparked dating rumours after allegedly being spotted together in a club.
