Nigerian singer, Ruger has taken to social media to shade his colleague, BNXN, formerly known as Buju who released his latest studio album titled “Bad Since’ 97”.
Buju BNXN And Ruger Exchange Words On Twitter
The two singers have been feuding over supremacy after Ruger declared during an interactive session with fans on Twitter that he is better than all his peers and more specifically, Buju.
Ruger implied that Buju’s success in the music industry is tied to his collaboration with other artists including Grammy winners, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
BNXN made it clear that he’s not in a competition with anyone and also pointed out some facts that show that he’s a better than his rival, Ruger.
On Wednesday night, Buju releaded his studio extended play (EP) tagged, ‘Bad Since 97‘ featuring three Nigerian music heavyweight exports which are, Wande Coal on the tune, ‘Kenkele‘, Wizkid on ‘Many Ways’ and Olamide on ‘Modupe‘.
Taking to his Twitter page on Thursday morning, Buju announced that his sophomore EP was topping the Nigeria’s Apple Music Album Chart.
Buju, who shared screenshot of the chart on his Twitter page, wrote: “What if I, What if I, What if I…Cook” which is likely a derivation of Ruger’s hit single ‘Girlfriend’.

Ruger apprently came across the tweet and fired back saying that Buju can only talk to him when he gets a solo hit and not depend on features.
“Get a solo hit then talk to me fatty bum bum”, Ruger tweeted.
Responding, Buju fired back at Ruger while still gushing over his Number One spot on the chart.
“Project #1 and I didn’t have to whine my waist 🥰”, he responded.

Buju added that Ruger’s recently released albums, “The Second Wave: Deluxe” and “Pandemic” are holding the number 33 and 164 spot on the chart, so he doesn’t come close to him.

The project will ALWAYS be more important than the hit! Look at Burna Boy! That’s my yardstick , you think I wanna blow with 1/2 songs and I no fit come back ?? When he was dropping you didn’t call those songs hits back then but you see now? Open your eye patch oloriburuku

KanyiDaily recalls that another singer, Omah Lay had previously lambasted his colleagues, Ruger and Victony, for comparing their selves to him and BNXN.
