Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has said he is willing to make a financial donation for the conduct of the 2023 general election but with a condition.
Naira Marley Donation For 2023 Election
Marley, who had in April this year, asked Nigerians if they would vote for him if he bought a presidential form, said he wants to make a one billion naira donation for the election.
He however, asked to know the political party Nigerians are willing to vote for first before he makes the donation.
Taking to his official verified twitter handle on Wednesday afternoon, the singer wrote, “I wanna donate 1billion naira for 2023 election but what party are we voting for?”

It is not clear if his tweet was meant to just catch fan “cruise”.
It is also not clear whether the singer has such amount of money to spare, but a report published three days ago by Carmart.ng, claimed that the “Soapy” crooner has an estimated networth of about a billion naira.
Major Political Parties For 2023
There are three major political parties contesting in the 2023 presidential election. The parties are the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP).
The presidential candidate of the parties are Atiku Abubakar, Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi respectively.
While LP’s Peter Obi appears to resonate with the yearnings and aspirations of the youths and a large number of Nigerians who are tired of old politicians with no ideas to turn the fortunes of Nigeria around, the two other candidates seem to have a question mark to their names.
For Atiku, there are allegations of corruption on his neck and there are also fears that he could sell off some national assets if he becomes president. Also, age is not on his side for the onerous task of piloting the nation.
For Tinubu, there are also allegations that he is not transparent with his academic credentials and his source of wealth is questionable. Also age is not on his side and his mental and physical health appears to be failing as videos online have captured occasions where his hands and body were shaking involuntarily. A few occasions he spoke he appeared to sound incoherent.
Although, his campaign team says the former Lagos governor is fit and sound to rule the country.
Atiku is 75 years, Tinubu claims he is 70 years old while Obi is 61.
