The Delta State Police Command says it has arrested the 27-year-old man, Kome Ogaga, who was alleged to have shot and killed an 11 years old boy, Merritt Hosanna in Ozoro.
Recall that Kanyi Daily had reported that the command had declared Ogaga wanted after he allegedly committed the crime on August 22, and ran away from home.
The command had also revealed that the suspect shot and killed Hosanna while testing a locally made gun.
The command had also appealed to members of the public with knowledge about his whereabouts to help the police so that the deceased boy will get justice.

But in a new update, the command’s Spokesman, Bright Edafe disclosed on his official twitter handle on Tuesday evening, August 30, that the suspect has now been arrested.
Providing details of the arrest, Edafe said Kome was brought to the station same Tuesday, August 30 by a relative after he saw the police tweet that went viral.
According to him, the suspect shaved his hair so it will be difficult to recognise him, noting that, “but he has a good relative who brought him to the police station.”
The command’s spokesman appreciated everyone who retweeted, adding that the little boy will surely get justice.
