KanyiDaily recalls that the 15th edition of the Headies award was held in the early hours of Monday at the Cobbs Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, USA.

In a video shared on his Instagram story, Vic O lamented that the Headies didn’t acknowledge him by nominating him despite dropping hit music back to back

The music star stated that he has been treated unfairly because his songs were better than the ones released by most of the nominated artistes.

He went on to lament that everything in Nigeria, including the music industry, appears to involve politics which favours those with connections.

“I am so upset with the headies award. The Headies award did not even acknowledge me this time by nominating me or by giving me the award. Everything in Nigeria is politics. I have been dropping hits back to back’‘, he stated.
