A Nigerian soldier identified as Iorliam Emmanuel has been arrested for allegedly stealing and selling ammunition to terrorists.
Soldier Arrested In Borno
The military personnel, who hails from Benue state, was attached to the 156 Task Force Battalion, codenamed “Operation Hadin Kai”, in Mainok, Borno state.
It was gathered that the soldier allegedly steals arms and ammunition from his base which he sells to Bandits, Boko Haram members, and kidnappers.
Emmanuel met his waterloo when he was searched by his colleagues at a checkpoint and he was found to be in possession of the stolen ammunition which he was moving out of Borno to hand over to his customers.
In a video circulating on social media, his colleagues could be seen removing the ammunition from a piece of clothing strapped around his waist.
On of the soldiers could be heard saying, “God pass you, 99 days for the thief; so you’ll go and give Boko Haram to come and attack us (sic)?”

Iorliam who hails from Benue state allegedly steals arms and ammunition from his base and sells same to Bandit, Boko Haram members and kidnappers. He met his Waterloo while he was moving these cache of ammunition out of Borno State to hand over to his customers.
He was intercepted by his colleagues at a check point and upon searching him, he was found to be in possession of the ammunition.
