Why Sanwo-Olu Increased Lagos Civil Servants Salary
The governor said he understands that the high inflation in the country may have affected the purchasing power of workers.
According to him, Lagos State will not wait for the federal government before it improves the well-being of workers.
He said his administration is proactive to the yearnings of civil servants.
“I have looked around and I know that as a country, there is pressure,” he said.
“I know that, as a country, there is a high level of inflation.
“At our cabinet meeting, I instructed the head of service office and the ministry of staff, training, and pensions to start work on how we are going to increase the entire salary of our public servants.”
