President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja after a routine two-week medical checkup in London, United Kingdom (UK).
Buhari Is Back In Nigeria
KanyiDaily recalls that the president had left Nigeria on October 31, 2022, for a medical checkup in the UK. He was expected back in the country in the second week of November.
Buhari’s jet landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Sunday, November 13.
He was received at the airport by some members of the Federal Executive Council, and top security chiefs, among others.
KanyiDaily recalls that the First Republic Federal Commissioner for Information, Edwin Clark said Buhari breached the Nigerian constitution by not formally transmitting power to Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, before leaving for London for his medical check-up.
