American rapper and businessman, Kanye West has revealed that he would contest for the president of the United States in 2024 despite his last failed attempt.
Kanye West Announces 2024 Presidential Bid
The controversial rapper, who has long desired to become US president, confirm his presidential bid in a video shared via Twitter on Sunday, November 20, where he announced far-right commentator, Milo Yiannopoulos as his new campaign manager.
“This is Milo right here, working on the campaign,’ Kanye said in the video.
“Is that an announcement?” one of the men asks as they both laugh.
“I guess it is,” Yiannopoulos replied chuckling. “Thanks, I accept.”
The cameraman then asked Kanye: “So you are running?” to which he responded after a delay: “Yes.”
The rapper explained: “It’s simple ’cause ain’t nobody can tell me, “you should say this, you shouldn’t say that”, you know? It’s just we’re moving towards the future.”
