Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the Blue Line Rail project in the state which was recently completed by his administration.

The governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, disclosed this on his Twitter page where he shared photos and videos from the inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Gawat said the first phase of the infrastructure works for the rail project (Marina to Mile 2) has been completed and is being inaugurated today.
The blue line, which Sanw-Olu inaugurated at the National Theatre Station, is one of seven Lagos metro rail lines, spanning from Marina to Okokomaiko.

KanyiDaily recalls that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had also received an approval letter from the Federal Government for the construction of the Lekki airport.
