A Nigerian couple has gone viral on social media after the man dumped his wife while they were on their way back from church after their wedding.

In a viral video, the man could be seen looking angry while being confronted by his friends and passersby while the bride is wailing on the floor in her wedding gown.

The groom refused to answer those who were asking to know why he had suddenly changed his mind on marrying the lady.

He requested for his suit jacket which was given to him, and he angrily left the scene, while his bride who also refused to say the reason for the separation kept weeping in the consolation of women around.

It is unclear why the young man dumped his wife despite efforts by the passersby who were seen begging him to reconsider his decision.
