Former Presidential aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has accused the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi of politicising church attendance.
Reno Omokri Tackles Peter Obi Again, Says He Has Politicised Church Attendance
Omokri, who is a strong critic of Obi stated this on his official Twitter handle on Friday afternoon.
This comes less than a day after the former Anambra governor attended Shiloh 2022, an annual programme of the Living Faith Church, to a rousing welcome by the congregation on Thursday.
Obi has been visiting major churches across the country in recent months.
But, according to Omokri, nobody on earth, living or dead, has to his knowledge, politicised church attendance like the LP presidential candidate.
The former presidential aide also said Obi did not know of the existence of these churches before 2022.
He also accused Obi of moving from church to church, turning alters into rallies.
Omokri wrote, “Nobody on Earth, living or dead, has, to my knowledge, politicised church attendance like Peter Obi.
“A man who did not even know of the existence of these churches before 2022 has started going from church to church and Experience to Shiloh, turning altars to rallies.”
