Two Suspected Robbers Run Into RRS While Chasing Early Morning Victim

Two suspected robbers have been arrested by bike riders of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command while chasing an early user of the Alausa – Ketu pedestrian bridge on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway.

The two suspected robbers, Victor Stephen, 23, and Sunday Michael, 20 were both arrested around 5:20 a.m. on Friday.

This was disclosed in a tweet on the handle of the RRS.

The tweet reads, “Victor Stephen, 23, and Sunday Michael, 20 were both arrested around 5:20 a.m. today on Alausa  – Ketu pedestrian Bridge on Lagos Ibadan Expressway.

“The duo waylaid early users of the bridge.
They were chasing an early user of the pedestrian bridge when they ran into the hands of RRS bike riders stationed by the bridge.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported how the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, December 8, 2022, secured the conviction and sentencing of a self-acclaimed transgender, Oblete Sunday Nazarethe before Justice N. I. Afolabi of the Federal High Court, Lafia, Nasarawa State on one count charge bordering on Internet fraud, also known as “Yahoo Yahoo”.
