Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo has narrated how he and his colleagues were robbed at gunpoint in Ubulu Okiti, Delta State.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, the actor revealed he was with actress Georgina Ibeh and Shire twin when they were attacked by armed robbers on Sunday night.

Odonwodo, who riding his co-workers in his car, said the robbers carted away with many of his valuables including phones, footwear, production shoes, bag which contained his passport, PVC and ID card and lots more.

The father of two expressed gratitude to God for saving his life after he returned home to find his family in good health.

“Coming back from work I was robbed at gunpoint. I was riding in my car with my colleagues, Georgina Ibeh and Shire twin and we were robbed around Ubulu Okiti at gunpoint.

“They stole everything, took everything, phones; ransacked the vehicle. Took footwear, production shoes, my bags with my passport in it and personal belongings. My PVC, my ID card and lots of things”, he said amidst tears.

Captioning the video, he wrote, “Robbed at gunpoint yesterday night at Ubulu Okiti….29/01/23. Returning from a movie set.

“Tears dropped the moment I got home by 1am and saw my family.

“Thank God for saving our lives. May we not meet our end in our quest for our daily bread… Amen”.
