Kanyi Daily earlier reported that the tribunal sacked Adeleke as the duly elected governor of the state on Friday.
The tribunal in a split document of two to one declared that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), should withdraw the Certificate of Return issued to Ademola Adeleke and issue the same to former Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

Reacting to the judgement, Adamu Garba, in a tweet on his official handle on Friday, described Ademola Adeleke as a temporary governor.
Adamu Garba also thanked the APC government and added that the signed electoral act 2022 made it impossible “for stolen mandates to succeed.”
Adam wrote, “I told you that Ademola Adeleke is a temporary governor, you thought it was a joke, but now you know.
“Thanks to the APC government, the signed electoral act 2022 made it impossible for stolen mandates to succeed.”
