Hauwa Indimi-Yar’Adua, daughter of Maiduguri oil mogul, Mohammed Indimi, has addressed those criticizing her over the name she gave her son.
The expectant mother, who welcomed her first son with her husband Mohammed in 2019, shared a video where she explained her decision to name her son Noah instead of “Nuh”
Taking to her Instagram story, Hauwa also revealed that she doesn’t care what people think about her child’s name, adding that she just wants to explain to those who care to know why she named her three-year-old son Noah.
She wrote, “I do not care what you think about what I call my child. Your thoughts don’t change a thing because this religion is just not as complicated as you make it.
“I say Islam is not complicated because it literally says the exact names you are not allowed to call your child. It says the preferred names. It says Allah’s favourite names. Please take this time to look those up too so you know.” she added.
KanyiDaily had also reported how Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau was charged to court after sharing racy photos which triggered blasphemous comments against Prophet Mohammed on social media.
