Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah has opened up about her ordeal at the hands of her ex-lover, George Wade, who wanted to blackmail her.
In a lengthy post shared on her Instagram page, the actress alleged that her ex-lover ran away with her car, international passport, three phones, and valuables worth millions.
Njamah added that he took “all my money but not my life like he has done to so many of his victims. Using my DM to chat with ladies asking for dollar accounts and their nudes and blackmailing them.”
The actress also revealed that she has retrieved her personal Instagram page back from the blackmailer, even though he did a lot of damage already.
She apologized to her fans and lovers who got scammed by her blackmailer, who pretended that he was in charge of her hospital bills while she was hospitalized.
Njamah said she is happy to have “run for my life from his regular beating, threats, humiliation”. She appreciated all her friends, family members, and fans who stood by her during her trying times.
The actress said she has reported him to the appropriate authorities, claiming he is still on the run.
She wrote, “I did a video on my business page @realhouseofempress to warn people about this dangerous blackmailer, who took my 3 phones and was scamming people pretending to be me. Asking for money which a lot of people sent, police traced the account n found out it was a POS lady he was using. So no trace (criminal).
“Am so sorry guys, I know you guys sent money out of LOVE. Pls next time try to speak to the person, he said I was in the hospital..yes I was hospitalized but never asked for money.
“I was able to escape and run for my life from his regular beating, threats, humiliation (I practically lived in the hospital) because I exposed him. Thank God I’m alive, free and getting my life back.”
“I was glad I came out to speak. Putting his pictures out there brought out so many of his victims, it exposed a lot about him. The appropriate authorities are on it but he is still on the run. The police are on it, for those asking why I didn’t report to the police, of cause I did.I mustn’t put everything on IG”
She added, “Happy new year everyone and happy new month. Am so happy to have gotten my personal Instagram page back from the blackmailer (even though he did a lot of damage already).
“Thanks to the amazing I.T and the crew. I want to take this opportunity to thank my family, friends, well wishers for standing by me through this perilous time of my life. God bless you all for the genuine love you all showed me. Can never take it for granted”.
