Laila Charani, a Moroccan model and ex-wife of Nigerian billionaire, Ned Nwoko, has been spotted with him as she celebrates his electoral victory.
KanyiDaily recalls that in November 2021, Charani had announced on social media that she had ended her marriage with Nwoko and warned nosy people to stay clear of her failed marriage.
Nwoko, had in a statement, said his marriage to the Moroccan model broke due to “irreconcilable differences rooted in indecent conduct on the part of Laila which started whilst she was on holiday in London.”
He gave a long list of things she did that degenerate to irreconcilable differences including that the mother of three was seeing another man, abandoned their kids and went for plastic surgery without telling him.
But in a dramatic twist in September 2022, Laila apologized to Nwoko, saying she has realized her mistake, adding that “I listened too much to outsiders”.
On Monday, February 27, Nwoko a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was declared as the winner of the Delta North Senatorial election.
Taking to her Instagram page, Laila shared a video of herself with Nwoko who she described her “husband” and congratulated him on his win.
Sharing the video which hinted that the couple have reconciled, Laila thanked everyone who supported her husband’s successful bid for electoral office.
She wrote, “I want to use this medium to appreciate all who worked tirelessly with my husband, Prince Ned Munir Nwoko. A big hug and appreciation to all those who trust his leadership and positive influence in Anioma Delta and the society at large.
“It’s not a day’s victory; we will continue to celebrate this victory and work towards a better Nigeria.
“Congratulations to my munir ❤️ Congratulations to the people of Anioma Delta! Videos by @drachibrand,” she added.
