A video circulating on social media shows the moment some bank officials were caught hiding the new Naira notes behind piles of old ones.

In the video, an official could be seen instructing a man at the bank vault to bring down stacks of old naira notes which were used to cover the new currencies.
He further demanded that the new Naira notes be loaded in the banks’ Automated Teller Machines (ATM) so that customers can have access to money.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Friday as Nigerians battle with scarcity of new Naira notes in commercial banks across the country.
