Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has come under fire over his new movie where he mimicked the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In the movie titled, “Peter Obi,” the actor is seen playing the role of the former Anambra governor as he alters his baritone voice to mimic that of the presidential candidate.

I love that Yul Edochie used this medium to show his support for the movement, he as an APGA card carrying member, doesn't want to be sanctioned for anti-party activities , he has to use his skills to push it😊 Wisdom is profitable to direct. Each time this video crosses my timeline, I get pissed all over again. What was Yul Edochie thinking when he picked up this role? Bad representation of Margaret Obi. Asaba movie industry have decided to carry their tomfoolery on Peter Obi. Smh 📌 pic.twitter.com/nZFXyWUbqX

What was Yul Edochie trying to drive at? That Peter is stingy to his wife? Same wife that took affair of his business when he became Governor. Yup thinks every man is like him that treats their wife like trash.

Igbo people, acting a movie to mock their Igbo brother who has become a beckon of hope to many Nigerians…tragic.
A prophet is indeed not recognized in his own home.
Yul Edochie & all who made that film, posterity will judge you all.

Yul Edochie is being paid. Just like the he exhibited lack of discipline, character and integrity costing him the union of his beloved family of over 10years, expect nothing less from straying son. We know our great Daddy (Pete Edochie) is a man of integrity. https://t.co/8Zg6QpLpWq

I have a serious issue with the person that told Yul Edochie that his PO impression is anything to write home about. I refuse to believe that he came to that conclusion on his own.

KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie had previously claimed that he and Peter Obi are the most talked about men in Nigeria.
